WHAT IS THE CAB ACCELERATION PROGRAM?
The CAB call for startup offers 10 innovative startups the opportunity to participate in a 6-month Italian-Slovenian cross-border acceleration program: from September 2018 to March 2019.
The Acceleration program will take place both in Italy and in Slovenia, to make the most of the characteristics of the two areas: Slovenia, as the ideal place to experiment with new business models, Italy, to develop the business. This is a blended cross-border program that includes both on-site and online participation.

WHO WE ARE?
We are an Italo-Slovenian partnership of universities, incubators and business accelerators and organizations, in collaboration with leading companies in various industrial sectors.
The call CAB for startups is promoted within the CAB project - Crossborder Acceleration Bridge, financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020 co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The purpose of CAB is to support innovative startups in growth by leveraging the unique characteristics of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia cross-border cooperation program area.).

WHO ARE WE SEARCHING FOR?
Motivated entrepreneurial teams that are in the initial phase of development. Teams that are facing a specific market problem and that have available market analysis, a beta version or an existing prototype. They must also have an interest in establishing a legal entity in Italy or Slovenia and a potential for growth in these two countries.

WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
Because we accelerate the growth of your startup internationally, in parallel in two countries. We offer you a mixed cross-border program, which includes both on-site participation (Italy and Slovenia) and online. You will be able to access a vast network of mentors and project partners and you will have the opportunity to make your reality and your project known to investors, business angels and Italo-Slovenian business realities.
You will have potential win-win partnerships with lead industries in various industry segments: Aristoncavi Spa, Danieli Group Spa, Aquafil Spa, Asalaser Srl, Carel Industries Spa, Irinox Spa, BTC d.d, Petrol d.d, Telekom d.d, Triglav d.d.

• support of our team of mentors
• 3 months acceleration program in slovenia at ABC Accelerator, one of the most important business accelerators in the macro-region,and 3 months at the Friuli Innovazione accelerator in Italy
• a bootcamp in Ljubljana and a Demo Day in Venice
