PollicIoT is a unique and innovative system created to improve care for the elderly, both between private individuals and in public facilities.
The wearable device, which allows the patient to be monitored remotely, was born within the Friuli Innovazione network, thanks to the collaboration of companies and subjects in the area such as  Cimtech Srl  of Reana del Rojale,  Mipot Spa of Cormons, the partner University of Udine and ASP Daniele Moro di Codroipo.
A unique system that allows a continuous control by the family or the Care Giver and allows the identification of the position and movements of the patient with a WEB platform, through which you can locate the elderly in real time , or receive alarm notifications in case of fall or exit from predefined perimeters. All this and much more will be explained by the project's creators to the "Viceversa" program broadcast on Udinese TV, on Monday 30 July at 7.30 pm. An opportunity to tackle important everyday issues such as the quality of health care and the new technological possibilities to face these daily commitments.
