It was held on Monday 28 May at the CRO - Oncological Center of Oncology of Aviano, the event of final presentation of the project "Platform for the analysis and comparison of images of breast tomosynthesis", co-funded by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in scope of the 2014-2020Por Fesr.

As part of the training course reserved to the operators of the regional screening "The calcification in senology", Dr. Maura Tonutti of ASUITs will illustrate the results of the project carried out by DataMind, Advanced Technologies and ASUITs in his speech "I test and presentation of the POR FESR project ".

After 15 months of activity, the project developed TomoNav, an innovative image guided navigation tool integrated into the software platform designed to support the senologist radiologist in the interpretation of mammographic images in tomosynthesis and that fully exploits the information provided by the new 3D technology. TomoNav aims to reduce image evaluation time and increase the confidence of radiologists in the daily use of 3D technology in both clinical and screening.
