Friuli Innovazione: positive and growing numbers for the future

Numbers on the rise for Friuli Innovazione, Business Accelerator that manages the Luigi Danieli Science and Technology Park in Udine: the final balance for 2017 closes with a profit after tax of € 82,058, thus marking a clear recovery compared to 2016, which instead it had recorded a loss of 207,000 euros.
Positive trend also for the value of production, which settles at 1,794,000 euros, up by + 25% compared to 2016 and + 5% compared to the forecast at the beginning of the year.
The forecast for 2018 is also good, with respect to 2017 showing a growth of + 20% in project revenues, thanks above all to the European ones and + 10% of the value of production.

The numbers were illustrated to the media by the president of Friuli Innovazione, Germano Scarpa: "I am particularly proud of this management result - Scarpa commented - because it highlights the virtuous uniqueness of a non-profit structure and self-finances mainly by obtaining contributions through competitive European, national or regional schemes, in which it participates by presenting research and innovation projects, whose benefits are to the benefit of the territory ".

With an operating model that remains unique in the panorama of the regional and national scientific parks, Friuli Innovazione carries out numerous activities aimed at supporting the competitiveness of the entire territory, introducing new business models, programs and innovative services. Among the most significant examples, the action aimed at manufacturing SMEs interested in experiencing the advantages of servitization applied to their business strategy (European project THINGS +), support for SMEs on technology transfer and new business models linked to the processes of Industry 4.0 (AIM project), the Additive Fvg Square project on industrial 3d printing.

Friuli Innovazione is also involved in the management of the scientific and technological park of Udine, which has about 40 establishments, and the management of the certified business incubator, which has supported the creation of about sixty startups and created more than 200 workplaces.

In order to make its proposal even more incisive, clear and effective, Friuli Innovazione presented the new web platform to the press (www.friulinnovazione.it): structure, graphic layout and organization of contents were designed to allow the user to find immediately the information you need, in a simple and intuitive way.
From the homepage it is possible to access with a click to three macro-areas, each identified by a color: ENTERPRISES, STARTUP, PROJECTS. Each macro area contains the information of interest for the specific user and presents the dedicated services of Friuli Innovazione. For a contact as direct and immediate as possible, each section presents the contacts of the service representative and provides a form to write directly from the site.
