Supporting the growth, modernization and competitiveness of metalworking in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a sector in which 48% of regional manufacturing companies operate, by means of proximity work and direct assistance on the territory.
With this project COMET Cluster, a reality that includes those who were the regional engineering districts, has established a partnership with Friuli Innovazione and opened its headquarters for the province of Udine in the premises of the "Luigi Danieli" Scientific and Technological Park.

The business realities of metalworking in FVG are limited in size but have a high technological content and strong potential for internationalization supported by organizational models that allow flexibility in production and dynamic response to the markets. The adoption of a production model, attributable to the digital factory, is increasingly widespread, offering top quality products made by workers with a high degree of professional specialization.
