On 14th December 2021, MESAP realised its annual conference in which Interreg Centrl Europe Boost4BSO has been presented towards institutions, SMEs, Large Companies and BSOs. The regional event took place at the prestigious ILO (International Labour Organization), the U.N. agency that since 1919 brings together governments, employers and workers of 187 member States, to set labour standards, develop policies and devise programmes promoting decent work for all women and men.

The event gathered over 100 people. The topic chosen for the conference "Oltre la fabbrica: nuovi paradigmi e nuove competenze" (Beyond the plant: new paradigms and new skills) was the opportunity to deep dive how digital technologies can leverage radical business model changes, like in the case of servitization. This concept refers to the transition from manufacturing industries to offer “equipment as a service” contracts opposed to a one-off sale traditional strategy. Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme Boost4BSO project goals and results have been presented by Francesca Pozzar of Friuli Innovazione, who highlighted also the capitalization of the previous project THINGS+. It developed a methodology à la carte, to improve manufacturing companies in their journey towards servitization, thanks to a set of training activities as well as a servitization manager international certification scheme to validate their competences.
