Walking down the New Silk Road: opportunities for entrepreneurial development and the promotion of innovation

The workshop is organized by Friuli Innovazione, within the CAB program, at the MIB School of Management in Trieste, on 29 November.

The event aims to be an open meeting to explore the innovative opportunities and the development of entrepreneurship in the technologically advanced sectors and industries, between China and the Adriatic Ecosystem, which includes the CAB program. The event is aimed at entrepreneurs, investors, academic experts, students and interested in the promotion and development of entrepreneurship linked to China, Italy and Slovenia.

The opportunities and challenges of cooperation between Adriatic and Asian entrepreneurship will be developed, with the speeches of Claudia Baracchini, Project Manager of Friuli Innovazione; Ales Pustovhr, co-founder of ABC Accelerator (Slovenia); Redg Snodgrass, Founder at QED growth, Roberto Della Marina, co-founder of Venture Factory and operative partner of Vertis Venture 3 Tech Transfer; Giovanna Tosetto, senior expert of Destinantion management at COTRI Italia.

Another focus will be the initiatives already active for the meeting with China:
Vittorio Torbianelli, Special Projects Unit at the Port Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea; Fabrizio Rovatti, Managing Director of Innovation Factory, AREA Science Park; Giorgio Sulligoi, Vice-Rector for Community Affairs and Commercial Relations at the University of Trieste; Alberto Di Minin, Associate Professor at the S. Anna High School and Director at the G. Galilei Institute, Chongqing University.

The CAB program, Interreg Italy-Slovenia, aims to accelerate the business of 10 Italian and Slovenian startups and, more broadly, to encourage the development of collaborations that can be "bridges" for the development of projects, companies and expanded entrepreneurial ideas, even beyond Europe.
