Wednesday 20 February Friuli Innovazione will be present at BioIndustry Park to talk about service innovation and present the Interreg Central Europe THINGS + project, aimed at strengthening the skills in manufacturing servitization for SMEs.

The meeting "Beyond the digital: redesigning the business model for the integrated supply of products and services", organized by the scientific park in Turin, is aimed at entrepreneurs of local SMEs and wants to promote innovative business culture.
The initiative, aimed at entrepreneurs of SMEs in the area, will be an opportunity to learn about the benefits of digital transformation for businesses and will offer interested companies the opportunity to join the THINGS + call to participate in a training course on service innovation.

Friuli Innovazione, the Friuli InnovAction Platform and lead partner of the THINGS + project, will talk about its experience in the servitization processes and the opportunities offered by the project. The event will not only help entrepreneurs to become more aware of the potential of servitization, but will also present the testimonies of SMEs that have already started the path of innovation with THINGS + and the first results achieved.

THINGS +, funded by the European Union under the Interreg Central Europe program for a total of almost 2 million euros, has as its main objective to revolutionize the current business models of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Central Europe, focusing on innovation, specialized services and new markets. Over the course of the project, which will last until May 2020, over 100 companies from all over Central Europe will be involved, in collaboration with which new innovative models will be tested specifically designed to strengthen the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector through the strengthening of support services.
